Be The Circus Set up and Technical Details
The show sets up easily in a typical School Gymnasium or on a sufficiently large stage.
Access to the Gymnasium at least 2 hours before show time is needed.
A full sound system is provided.
The tightwire anchors into volleyball pole holes in your gym floor.
These holes should be a minimum of 60 feet apart.
Other set-ups are possible. Contact Flyin’ Bob for details.
Physical layout of the show
The show takes place in the centre of your gymnasium floor.
Flyin’ Bob occupies a strip down the centre of the gym and the audience is on both sides facing centre. This creates two front rows and all students are close to the action of the show.
Students can face each other and observe each other’s reactions.
This naturally increases their involvement in the show.

The tightwire is 9 feet high and 20 feet long and is the finale of the show. When Flyin’ Bob is walking on the wire this puts his head about 15 feet above the floor of the gym, where students are sitting looking up. It’s huge!
